Haasteeseen vastaus - Starlight Blogger Award by Sannan Kupla

September 4, 2015

Tai no....improvement !

Viime postauksessani mainitsinkin saaneeni pari haastetta tässä lähimenneisyydessä....ja tänään aloitan vastaamalla Sannan Starlight Blogger Awards-haasteeseen. Kiitos vielä tästä Sanna !

Viikonlopun aikana vuorossa toiselta Sannalta saamani hieman laajempi haaste. Kyllä tästä blogikoomasta vielä noustaan !

Jos satut lukemaan tätä postausta, niin ota ihmeessä osaa tähän haasteeseen halutessasi :)

1. If you could change one thing in history, what would it be and why ?
I would erase (and prevent it from happening again !) the invention of the atomic bomb. I've just recently watched a couple of documentaries detailing the events of August 6th, 1945 in Hiroshima, and even though this bombing (and that of Nagasaki) has always been on my list of incomprehensible nightmares....the documentaries brought back some haunting images. It is just unimaginable what we humans can do to each other. I don't think I need to add why I'd change this part of the history.

2. What is something that you have always wanted to try but have been too scared to ?
Well, I want to try skydiving and benji jumping -- and I will do both if I will get the opportunity in the future, so these are really not things that I'd be too scared to try. However, base jumping is the thing where I'd have to draw the line....not that you can even do it if you haven't trained for years...this daredevil sports fascinates me to the core....but honestly, I couldn't do it. Maybe 25 years ago.

3. Which subject did you like at school (if any) and did that define your career in any way ?
My favorite subjects were the English language and geography....and I suppose in some ways, they played a part in that I always wanted to work and live abroad....and did so, too. I think though that it was in my personality to begin with....I liked English and geography because I had wanderlust in my genes.

About to (Base) jump !
